Just my humble opinion and the way I did it..............
It depends on what you are in to.......I don't have a hang up about owning a NEW car.
Me...I can't tell that my car as ever sat in except for the 8K on the odometer.
I can have a lot of fun with the money I saved.
And

different strokes for different folks. My father owns a used ML500 and you can't tell the difference either. I actually looked on ebay until i decided to go new. It was either a new coupe, used A6, used MBCL, used E46 M3 or wait for the S4. So as you can see I have no problem with used. If I sold my 9,500k coupe right now Im pretty sure the new owner would be very very happy

I feel better now. For some reason I was actually thinking maybe my salesguy screwed me. Of course when I bought my car they couldn't even keep a coupe on the lot, so there was no need to offer discounts. In fact, it was three months after I ordered my coupe before I actually drove one! I could only test a sedan because there were no coupes in the area at all.

I test drove a 5AT Coupe twice before I ordered my 6MT. The 5AT was fun, but I knew the 6MT would be even more enjoyable to drive and it is.

On the topics of markups, when the Evo was first released, a local dealer in the Seattle area marked it up 50% ($15k) as a "market adjustment". Don't know if any idiot actually paid that much.

The local dealer in my area had a coupe in the lot with a sticker price of 38 something. I looked over everything that was included and I was absolutely floored when I saw the sticker price on the "carbon fibre" dash kit. Anyone that pays $1250.00 for a sticker dash kit is an absolute sucker.

Hey SIXONE, I saw your post about the lambo wing that you could pay for with one of your payments. Well one of my gfinance payments is 500/month. Now that I am out of college and cut off, my father bought a 1999 Diablo roadster(final year of roadster) and they said the wing is about 2k-2500 and the guy who owned the car before him got an aftermarket exhaust that cost $8,000. Feel free to drop a load in your pants. It made me sick too

Bought my G in January 03', and paid $1000 under MSRP(navigation, 18' rims). Had a buddy who pre-ordered his 03' and paid 3 grand over MSRP. Timing is key when buying any car.

I got my coupe first week of November, 2002~ Not one penny off the MSRP. Put down a deposit for 7 months and change. I asked the sales guy to throw in the $29 wheel lock for free and he said "No, I know plenty of people who would take this car at MSRP right now without throwing in the wheel lock" What a bunch of cheap ***.
