Would you pay $43k sticker for coupe?

I was at riverside infiniti today and they have a red coupe in the showroom that has some upgrades. They are charging 4k chrome 19"s, and get this 2k for stillen exhaust and intake(exhaust $700, intake $150). Thats a damn expensive coupe for sticker price.

that's retarded.....

On a fully equipped sports coupe that's still like 6-7grand more.

I'd rather do it myself....

Tell them to take off the HEAVY chrome bling blings, skip the exhaust and intake and simply have them add the vortec supercharger and guarantee the factory warranty still applies (get that part in writing) and sign your check as fast as you can!

I paid 42 for my G.

But, I ordered my 04 the first week they started accepting orders. It doesn't seem like that many people on here actually paid sticker.

Re: Would you pay $43k sticker for coupe?

I think the sticker on it was 38, after tax, title, and all that other stuff my total was 42. It wasn't marked up at all over sticker like some other dealers were doing on the preorders. It's fully loaded, with navi. And paying that much didn't hurt near as much as paying $1200 every six months just to insure a car that I drive less then 8K miles a year.

I guess being 24, single, and having 4 speeding tickets in the last 12 months (none in my G) has its disadvantages.

Almost all the 2003's and early 2004's paid sticker - and it was worth every penny!

"Thats the price and it ain't moving" lol i still laugh when I think about this 62yr old lady who sold me my car saying that. Gotta love her...she used to sell Lamborghini's before Infiniti's so I bet her sticking to her guns on 37k was no big deal. Can't remember exactly what she told me but I believe the price for a spolier on a Diablo would pay every one on this boards car payment for a month.

No way would I pay that much. The invoice I paid on my car was $33278 for a 6MT, non-nav, prem. package.

If you just have money to burn ....why not?????
But me....I was patient and looked around......and found a 2003.5 , Black / Willow /6MT....MINT with 8K miles......couple had as second, play car....and decided to have a baby.
I paid $29,900....no sales tax....no dealer prep.......and can spend the difference on really nice mods.......
With age comes wisdom.....

Re: Would you pay $43k sticker for coupe?

I couldn't wait.....03.5 got my car in august with a june build date, woulda had to wait till Nov for an 04'. Paid MSRP and don't even question my purchase, though I did get a little peeved when I found out all the discounting going on 04's. 98.9% of 03' owners paid MSRP.
