More Horsepower and More MPG? Is this Heaven?

I heard about this www.aquatune.com It is a water injection kit that claims to get more hp, tq and better MPG. It says it produces hydrogen molecules or some crap that make gas burn more effeciently I am not sure. I checked them on bbb.com and this company was in business since 2000, so they look legit. Also they show a video clip from some newsroom where they tested the product and it seems like it works. ANY FEEDBACK?

Isn't this the same deal as the water/alcohol/methanol injection that a lot of high hp cars run? It's nothing new afaik, but it is effective if you can be bothered to have another fluid that you have to fill up in your car.

Ive seen water injection on a 3gste engine(mr2) and it made more hp and tq. I dont know if you will be able to view this since i believe you have to have log in information for mr2oc.com
http://mr2oc.com/showthread.php?t=22...ater+injection

He made 18hp and 21 tq just from the water injection and made a better numbers through out his whole pull on his dyno sheet. Take in mind though that he is running a ct26 turbo along with other mods but still here is your proof that it works....

it DOES work.

people have been doing this for a long time.

it's also good for basically steam cleaning your piston heads and valves lol

I'm running a water/methanol kit from Aquamist and it works wonders for cooling and keeping intake temps down and helps fight off detonation. As far as gaining power, NA you are not likely to see much (if at all) of an increase in hp/torque. Some FI'd vehicles do see a slight increase but this is more of a result of being able to get more aggressive with tuning than the actual kit.
