Looking for a 6MT G Coupe in the SF Bay Area?
Well, the car I ordered is here, but I just turned it down!!The car is available for the taking at Peninsula Infiniti and is a 6 MT DG, Graphite, Premium, Navi (but no aero) coupe. The reason I turned it down was because I'm picking one up WITH aero (which I really wanted) at another dealership this weekend. I was initially going to be ok without the aero package, but then decided later that I wanted it factory installed.
Try giving them a call (650) 369-4000 and ask for Ernie (or email him tonight - eschmidt010@aol.com) - maybe, like someone else posted, you won't have to wait 3 months for your coupe!! Ernie is very professional and patient - even when, like me, you end up not buying the car from him! Can't say enough good things about him.
Hope this helps somebody out there...

Just FYI - the deal I had with them was for no markups - ie the $2500 wax package, etc (but they did have the mandatory "optional" Lojack which they refused to get rid of. - the price was $1K, but I believe it's negotiable.)
I'm sure if you called them this morning, the car still doesn't have any of that nonsense put on yet.
Good luck! I hope it works out for you Gixxer!

If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say a generic $20 bottle of synthetic wax and $2480 in the dealer's pocket. Or maybe it's a 5-year twice a year "free" waxing, in which case the dealer only pockets $2100.

Yeah, I think it was some synthetic wax (probably nu-Finish) and then the package also included the interior treatment, which is probably scotchguard and leather protectant.
An obvious dealer markup, but since I had reserved the car before it came in, they didn't put it on the sticker. But, the SM claimed that "he has a contract with lojack" so he couldn't undo the lojack option. I did some research, looks like you can get lojack on your own for about $600, so there's another $400 dealer profit.
Also, any arguments for the lojack providing a discount on your insurance are minimal at best - my insurance carrier gives me a 25% discount on the comprehensive portion of the policy for the immobilizer alone, and with lojack about 30%. So a 5% savings, but since the comprehensive only costs me $65 per 6 months, another $2-4 cheaper didn't justify the cost of the lojack package.

actually, if your coupe has the new cup holder/arm rest design, then it's not at Pennisula any more... they have it at Frontier Infiniti, another dealer owned by the same owner....
as of las friday, they had a markup of $2500 on that car....
plus the paint protection and the lojack...... comes out to about $40000 plus a few changes before tax..... quite expansive, if you ask me....
