Merlin, I'm glad we agree that we disagree. It's so beautiful.
Anyways, I don't understand how much time you're going to give DG before you accuse him of wrongdoing. I think a month is long enough time to at least be skeptical. If I remember correctly, Maevrok sent this guy an email through AOL and the status was returned as "read" or "deleted". That alone I think is enough evidence to prove of some wrongdoing. It doesn't take more than half a minute to reply. Even my friend in Iraq occassionally find time to post blogs to at least tell us he's still alive. If he is short of time or was involved in an accident, I can't understand how he would have the time or strength to read and/or delete emails, but not respond.
The way I see it, you're giving this guy an open avenue to come back and say that he was in a horrible accident and be completely forgiven, even if it weren't true. I can already imagine the first guy saying "I told you so" and "DG, would never do that to us". I am a cynic when the circumstances are deserving and here, it's well deserved. I think the guy needed a grill and figured he'd get it and bone out.
Has anyone here actually gotten work done from him? Well, anyone aside from Kookoo, who might decide to respond. This might help to at least keep the hope that DG is still decent a little longer.

If it's getting old, then stop reading it. I personally think it's entertaining. I do feel for Maev, but that's about it. There was a contract (written or verbal)that was not fulfilled by the obligated party and the only victim here is Maev, Duc is already guilty for not holding up his end of the bargain. I think that there has been no rules broken in these threads. To me I think a bigger problem is all the newb's that don't do searches and post 50 questions about their damn pop-chargers and z-tubes amongst other things. It takes time for me to scroll down past all these post, so I don't think one or two threads about ducatiguy is a problem. Exactly what is this subject taking away from the forum as you put it? I think you are part of the minority on this one...how many responses does this thread have now?
