Re: So, I raced AUDI_2_7t yesterday!
Just curious, I've never actually been to a track with real equipment, but do they also correct for atomospheric pressure and temperature?
A "Standard Day" is 15 degrees Celsius, Sea Level, with atmospheric pressure of 29.92. If the pressure is lower than that, the temp is higher, or the altitude is higher, ALL 3 will cause a slower run. High pressure, cold air, and low altitude will all result in faster runs.
Why don't they correct for temp and pressure?

Re: So, I raced AUDI_2_7t yesterday!
Catatafish, I asked the same thing. If they know the factors at sea level, why not write the projection program to automatically calucate the time and mph by the two factors (.97 and 1.03) and list the actual time at sea level? It's trivial to do from a dev stand point. You just write a quick script that does the multipication just before posting the time and MPH...it might cause a .500 delay in the display of the time, but who cares? Unless, of course, the tool they use to capture the data is not open source. Opps, I got all nerdy, didn't I? =)

hey i've seen posts here that some people said they either have smoked or would smoke a honda S2000....after seeing peoples 1/4 times.....i dont think even the best shifter can beat a moderate S2000 driver.....i saw a video and the S2000 got almost exactly 14.1 sec.....
