Squeaky brakes

My G35 Coupe 6MT has squeaky Brembo brakes. Does anyone else have this problem?

sorry get used to it. They're performance breaks. Great bite and no squeak at fast stops. Slow stops squeeky noise. I had a nice talk with the service rep about these.

Re: Squeaky brakes

Does the sqeaking happen with all brembos? Mine haven't started squeeking and I just passed 800 miles today (fingers crossed)!

Re: Squeaky brakes

So far so good on my Brembo's. I am also at 800 miles. My wife's G35 Sedan is another story....her brakes cry like a baby at slow stops.....+ her wheel dust is terrible. Havn't had a significant dust problem with the Brem's yet.

Re: Squeaky brakes

A few moderately quick stops will stop the squeaking for awhile, if it's from the dust.

Re: Squeaky brakes

In mine, the squeaking tended to happen when you apply very light pressure...as other mentioned, coming to a slow stop. The next time you find yourself in traffic that's just crawling, roll the windows down and have a listen.

Re: Squeaky brakes

I wonder if going to a different brand of break pads will help? I forgot to ask the infiniti tech about that.

Re: Squeaky brakes

Organic pads (instead of semi-metallic) will be quieter. They probably won't stop quite as well, and will be more prone to brake fade, though.

What about those ECS Green Stuff pads made with Kevlar? Anybody know how those do on noise? I know they produce less brake dust and are supposed to avoid fading.
