Worth Modding

Hey guys, I have a 2004 5AT G35 Coupe with just over 55,000 miles.

I was wondering if you guys think its worth buying mods for, or if I should just wait a bit and trade it in for a newer model with fewer miles and maybe a MT.

When I say mods, I just mean simple stuff like an intake/filter and exhaust, etc. mainly just for cosmetics and sound. To stand out in the crowd basically.

Thanks again for the feedback.

i say go for it... but keep all the stock parts so when you get a newer one with less miles you can just switch over the mods...

its never too late to mod. lower, exhaust. intake. keep it simple enough so that way its never a biggie if you want to trade it in to the dealership down the road.

Ya but can you install most of these things by yourself?

My friends brother used to have a Turbo'd IS300...I guess I could just ask him for help...

You guys crack me up talkin' bout' gettin' a car with lower miles and you only have around 50K... For a VQ that is just really broken in, many of these around the globe are driven well past 200K miles (more than 320,000 Kilometers)...
If you trade it at this early in it's life you will only be giving some buyer a sweet deal!
Mod it and enjoy it awhile; it will last a long time unless you boost it high without proper tuning or internals. You can pretty much do anything to with it in a naturally aspirated configuration and it will last as long as you do proper maintenance etc. On the other hand, if you really want a 6MT, I can understand because there is no real cure for that once it's in your blood!
