OK well i posted earlier that my G coupe had gotten hit and needed some paint, dent removal, and a new headlight. The repairs went well and I must say my car looks brand new again. ^^ However there is a problem the new headlight is darker than the old one. I went to Infiniti today and noticed all of the coupes also had this new darker chrome headlight. Anyone else ever notcie this???

 

Could have to do with Sunfade. Your coupe is a year old, has been sitting in the sun that much longer. I dunno, sounds logical to me.

04s have a darker headlight housing than the 03s

I have a crack inside one of my headlights. Waiting for the other to crack (heat from foglight) so I wont have mismatched headlights.

 

does anyone have a suggestion on waht to do? im thinking about callin up the insurance and having them pay for the other one to get replaced.. is there anyway to find an 03??

 

That's a great idea; to bump up your insurance premiums.

Don't report anything you absolutely don't have to. The more claims you file, the larger premium you will end up paying. Don't file a claim for a bumper dent. Don't file a claim because your headlight assembly has a crack.

File a claim when your car drives into a river, or into a phone pole.

Otherwise let your insurance company forget you exist (with the exception of timely insurance premium payments, of course).

Everybody, increase your deductible to $500. You'll save more money in a few months to make up for the extra money you'd have to shell out if something did happen to cover the new higher deductible.

 

Look on ebay from time to time...YOu may be able to find something.
