White Crawford Plenum

Anyone have pics of an Ivory Pearl G with a white Crawford V5 installed? I'd pull the trigger but can't decide between the standard finish or the white.

Re: White Crawford Plenum

Is their any reason to select one color over the other - besides the obvious which is the exterior color the car?

Re: White Crawford Plenum

Black is probably a good idea given that every damn piece of hose, belt and wiring in there is black.

Re: White Crawford Plenum

BTW,
I just realized that Crawford is in Nashvegas, just 3 hours from me. I'm thinking about taking my ride up there and letting them put on the cats, headers and plenum all in one shot. Bad news is, I'd have to pay sales tax on all the parts cause we're both in Tennessee. Think that would get me in the 300 HP club?

Re: White Crawford Plenum

-Fish,

300+ bhp club??? Most definitely. Crawford claims 40rwhp at redline with the combo you just called out. My dumb opinion is that the RT Cats and Nismo headers "MIGHT" be a better option. The RT's are supposed to be more free-flowing, and the NISMO headers are exactly "equal length" from what I've read.
The only reason I'd do the "trio" install at Crawford would be because I lived close to them (which I don't), but then again they don't follow torque specs like the manufacturer recommends (Doug told me this himself), so I might consider a secondary performance shop for the install. One who is more detail oriented.

I'm teetering on whether or not to get headers... If you want (that's a big IF) you could install the cats and plenum yourself. Do a dyno run and then have a performance shop install your headers for you. THEN you could do an after dyno run and see EXACTLY what the headers give you by themselves.

You alone, would be the deciding factor for me getting / not getting after market headers. I've read too many mixed reviews (without before/after dynos) to make a solid decision one way or the other. Wadda-ya' think?

Neff,
Let's see how loud I can stand it after the plenum, cats, and exahust . If it's not too bad, I'll be the headers guinea pig.
