I just bought all these parts I will get then in 2 weeks anybody knows what gains are expected fom these mods please help me i'm curious

 

My take on this is that you should have asked that question before you purchased these items. I personally do not know this answer, but can take a guess...
Typical exhaust 5-8 rwhp
Typical intake 5-8 rwhp
Headers (depends on who you talk to) 0-20 rwhp... My guess is the headers will add 5-15 rwhp, but that's just a "dumb guess". Add those up and you'll probably be between 10-20 rwhp if you're lucky.

i say no more than 15 hp to the wheels...

I got 20h to the wheels with the CAI, Exhaust, Ground Kit(does nothing!!!), and SAFC, and a few stickers on my window!!!

This is always a very interesting dilemna. I'm convinced that the bolt ons are dynamic. In other words, they behave differently in different combinations. I wonder if sport compact car measured them with a different Plenum, what the gains would have been? Each mod is a function of another, not simply additive. Wax on Wax off.....you can only exhale as much as you inhale.

Maybe the headers will ALLOW up to a 20 hp gain at redline, but it has only provisioned 5 HP in a given intake configuration. Open up the intake and the headers may allow far more gains.

I'm going to take readings on my ride that is stock, with a JWT pop charger and z tube. Then I'm going to install the Crawford plenum and take more readings. Then I'm going to most likely do the headers and cats from Crawford as well. It will be interesting to see what kinds of gains I get.

I'll be using a G Tech Comp and before you flame, realize that it's not the validity that matters here (although if I can get the weight nailed down I'll have VERY valid HP readings at the wheels), it's the difference taken between mods. If anyone has weighed their fully loaded G without chin spoiler and has a weight, I'd love to have it.

but anyway, most horsepower gains that people claim are at redline, i got 20rwhp just below redline(didn't want to f-up car)
in reality, who really drives around at redline all the time? No one! you are going to want to measure what your mods do in i'd say 4th gear at full throttle, thats what a dyno does. Those mods, which i am debating on those headers will be a perfect combination. Lots more airflow and power at HIGHer rpms.

hey bor did you really get 20 ponies with just cai and exhaust did you do a dyno??? ,, if thats accuarate I'm happy as hell. I bought all that plus dc headers please renpond

 

hey I just got all my parts install injen exhaust,injen intake,dc headers my g feels a lot faster and smoother I am so happy with the results the exhaust sounds like a dream and the quality of the product it's amazing, people for me this the best buy out of all exhausts I'm goona dyno my g soon I'm probably in the 305hp at the fly wheel so I hope don't think it twice this is a damn good invesment... peace people

Go out and jump on a dynojet with SAE corrections and post the results. We're all interested in hearing your gains.

From my recent readings, I bet about half of -Pearls gains are from his S-AFC. The more I learn about this thing, the more I like it [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img].
