i drained my battery and had to jump start, i would like to get a new battery to replace it, can anyone recommend a good battery to put in so that it can hold up to my car audio system?

 

Yeah, Optima is the way to go. They don't leak acid gas, so they're less corrosive.

any spiral cell type battery is good. Optima, Excide Orbital...all will run you around $130 for a starting battery and $160 for a deep cycle.

 

you may want to consider some dry cell batteries, like odyssey batt or go to absolutebattery.com, it's military grade, superior cranking amps, vibration resistant, looks nice, etc.... ask about it fr. your local car audio installers. i have it in my truck and it's powering my 2 arc audio amps w/ 1k watts ea. amp. no problem so far after 2 years.

 

so will the optima yellow top battery fit in my g35 coupe? or no? i might have blown or have a defective fuse on my battery, so maybe thats why my amp is not gettin enough voltage or juice to turn on the other one...
