Should I buy 2004 g35?
Should I buy 2004 g35?
Hey guys I need help, there is this nice 2004 infiniti g35 coupe with 25k miles that has only front bumper missing and the owner gave me an estimate of 2k to fix the bumper, the fender, and the hood.
oh the car has no mainframe problems, and it is being sold for $14,900
is this a good deal? Do you guys think I can get him to fix it and sell me the car for lets say, $15,000 or is that unreasonable?
thanks for the help in advance

That's not too bad of a deal as it sits... plus you can factor in a bumper change into the equation and you'll save a bit of money in the process.
What are the options on the car? Paint color, interior color? That will give a little bit of insight as to what the car is worth.
Also, what was the cause of the accident?

thanks guys, I think he said the cause of it was a minor hit by a car or something really lightly to the right headlight, which made it break as well as the bumper, the paint is black and I am thinking the interior is leather, not sure yet
I will go and check it out tomorrow, he said he would fix it up for $2000 and the car is being sold for 14,900, but I am wondering if it would be reasonable to ask him to sell it for $12,900 because I bought a car from him before, and I will pay him at least half, if not all, in cash?
Do you guys think it would be a reasonable offer to ask for $12,900 for the car and the fix up of the front bumper, hood, and right fender?
If not, what do you guys think a really really good deal for it would be? My parents are willing to spend up to $14,000 I think but I really want to get the best deal I can possibly get.
thanks alot guys
