First of all I know that Jaguar makes a high performance version costing somewhere like $80K, but today I encounter a stupid driver driving a S-type 3.0 V6 trying to race. We were both at a red light and for some reason he just took off but his engine sounded really really sick like it had "diareah" ( spell check ). Anyways, to make a long story short I caught up to him in about half a second and blow pass him. The point that I'm trying to make is why ? Why would someone do that ? I would never go up to a new corvette to challenge them.

 

prolly just wanted to see you run. Or maybe that was his normal driving habit.
If I'm not mistaken I think those are 0-60 (in good condition) in @ 7.1 secs

ya, pretty crazy that an S-type 3.0 wanted to race, they are not packing a whole lot. now it would have been a different story if it was an S-type R, would have been a good race, but you would most likely lose. my dad has one so i know very well how'll they do. and it's around 62K by the way

Yeh I was on the highway one time.. and this punk loser kid in his momma's S-Type 3.0 with all his loser friends in it, wanted to race. Kept messing with me. So I looked at him and we both took off. That cars freakin slow man.
