hey everybody.. i hope theres someone here that can help me with this little problem i have run into. The other day i cleaned out my throttle body with this Valvoline throttble body cleaner i picked up at the auto parts store down the road from my house. Now when i started up my car i noticed the rpms at idle a little high.. when i took it out for a drive the rpms would jump from 800-1500 and back down again.. then Check Engine Light illuminates. do i have to go to the dealer or is there something else i can do to avoid getting raped at the dealer. all suggestions are welcomed thanks everybody

 

If you haven't done the t-valve position reteach... I'd start there.
