Passenger window keeps going down

When I use the auto up on the electric window it goes to the top and come straight back down about 4 inches. Any ideas of how to fix this?

take it to the dealer.... the sensor is slightly off making the motor "think" that it needs to go up further to close completely, but it's actually going all the way up and bumping into the door jamb or whatever you call it and rolling down because of the safety.... just like if you were to put your hand in the way of it, it will close down on your hand slightly then reverse

the dealer can adjust this for you pretty easily

Same problem.

I have the same problem, but don't want to bother w/ the dealer. It should be an easy fix. Anyone done this themselves before? If not, I guess i can just dig in and figure it out myself, but surely someone has messed w/ this already...

anyone?

Thanks!

I've been having this problem for months now and finally had a good day yesterday to fix it. You have to do the window reset because apparently the window is going up too high and hence the safety function kicking in and moving it down.

This DIY will fix it. It worked for me. 20minute Job
