What to check before i buy!?

Hey everyone!

I would just like to ask some people what i should look for or at before i buy my 2004 G35 with 46k Coupe this weekend? I have noticed when i drive it that the drivers front sounds like it might need a wheel bearing but i also know it does need tired too. I have saw some posts about the engine problem with oil burning which after reading it kidna scares me a bit all of the people i have talked to say they are great cars with no problems but after reading a few posts im not sure anymore! Arrgh! Any help would be great before i dive into 15k worth of debt.

Rest easy regarding oil consumption - it's really only a "common" (quotes meaning it's still not common) in the '05+ Rev-Up 6MTs. I recall reading that it may be attributed to a bad batch of seals in those engines.
