Thinking of Buying a g35

Hey guys, I've been looking to buy a g35 for the past few weeks and wanted to mod it up a little as well. I'm selling my Integra GSR and want to get into something a little more presentable when going to work and grad school, I'm done with the racing/import scene.

I want to get a black/black G35, Tint the windows, Tint the tail lights and get Black rims with a Red lip on it. What do you guys think?

I had two questions though.

1. I saw a G35 with tinted tail lights, but it wasn't stock taillights, it looked supercool and I'm wondering what they were. I think it was some sort of lens cover, does anyone know anything about that?

2. Does anyone know what these rims are called? I really want to get them, and what size is good for me without ruining my smooth ride?

1 Taillight overlays, can order from bluebatmobile on this forum
2 ? I don't think just changing the rims dramatically changes the ride quality, especially if they're the same diameter as the stock ones

changing wheels and tires will cause your ride to be more bumpy, cause of the smaller wall on tire. unless you put a larger wall size on new rim.

in my opinion i still think going all black vehicle and having red lip is still going to attract racers.

Those rims would look better on a Z, not sure they would look the best on a G unless heavily modded. But I have 20" wheels on mine and it still rides nice. The ride is a little stiffer and you can feel bumps a bit more than oem but theres not too much of a difference in ride.

Keep your integra as a beater because of the oil prices and wanting to keep the G nice and clean and away from haters.

Thanks you guys. Yeah, I'm gonna look into more rims, but I really want black ones with a red lip. If you guys have any suggestions, I'd be glad to hear them, and also what size is ideal?

Just spend a lot of time looking around for rims youre gonna be happy with. The APR G35 with their wide body kit has black rims with a red lip and look good on it, but I'm not so sure it would look so great on a stock OB G. It might be tough to find black rims w/ a red lip that you actually like for the G, instead it might be better to find rims that you like and find a good shop to paint the lip red or something along those lines instead.
