Revup vs. brembo... Up to you

the 05 is a much better color than boring sliver and the interior is way nicer.

05 simply cause its newer, are they both 6mt? if your gonna change wheels anyways then the stocks wont matter, but the 19s would sell for more especially with new tires.. depends what you plan on down the road

Is the 04 Brilliant Silver or Diamond Graphite Metallic?

That is a lot of miles for an '05. Are these automatics or 6MT? If they're 6MT, you'll have to consider a clutch replacement sooner with the '05.

In terms of power if they're 6MT:
04 is 280hp/270ft-lbs torque
05 is 298hp/260ft-lbs torque

They perform almost exactly the same.

And FYI the powertrain warranty is 6 years or 70,000 miles, so the '04 is still under powertrain warranty. It is the bumper-to-bumper warranty which is 4 years/60,000 miles.

Also, do these both have their respective "sport" suspensions? Both have Bose stereo?

Food for thought:
Your stock 19's with great tires would sell for ~$1000
I sold my stock 18's with ~50% tires for $450 without TPMS

EDIT: Also, what do you know about the demographics of the owners? Is the one owner of the 2004 likely to have modified the car?

What about the two owners the '05 has had?

2005 with records of service. Plus better wheels from the start. I do like black, but I hate washing every other day. Looks like crap if you do not clean on a regular basis, all the damn time basis. Thats why I hate black. Looks good though if you clean it all the time.

Thank you guys. But I can't still decide.
Both cars have bose, and only 2005 has rear spoiler. So I guess 05 has sports package. I do not know anything about owner...However, both vehicles ran good.
I don't plan too change stock wheel at all. I just prefer the stock 18''..
By the way, they are 5AT; I am just tired of shifting><

I would get the 05. The thing that tipped me over the edge in getting a G was the updated interior and the 19" wheels. The updated interior really brought the quality up to par with its competitors, and the 19" wheels are really popular. You can get more cash for those than you would on the 18s.

51k miles isn't all that much. They're probably mostly freeway miles which is far less wearing than city miles.

If they are both 5AT the 04 does not have the Brembo's. They had problems with the non-Brembo equiped coupes, they were eating up brake pads, so they extended the brake pad warranty from 12 to 36 months or 12K to 36K miles (all wear items and adjustments are warranted for 12 mos/12K miles only)

True.

'04 5AT vs. '05 5AT it's a complete toss-up with the mileages you mentioned.

Do you like one exterior color better? Enough to offset the interior differences?

G/L deciding!

Just had another thought.

Are you looking at these from the same dealership?

Are they separate private sellers?

If you're buying them from different places, just make it a bidding war between the two places. Or set a price and see which one will meet it. If you're really going to be happy with either, buy the one which you can get for cheapest and therefore put more money into mods!

Since both are 5AT, I would say go for the lower miles 04.
