it made me laugh when I saw it on a different thread.... had to poke fun.... the tread life on the tires drives me crazy, only getting about 20k miles out of a set of rear tires... but if I drove it like it was a minivan it would probably do a lot better.... for some reason, can't keep the tread on them when I slide corners, stop hard and take off fast.... crazy how that works! Oh, and all of the above factors seem to give me poor gas mileage as well... go figure!

I am riding on the stock 17's right now, buying stock 18's with new tires on it today... but when I looked, tire price for the 17's ranged from $104 (CHEAPIES) to nearly $300 (only looking at discount tire)... the ones that were recommended to me were $189 each...

here is a link to the list of tires on discount tire's website... it was the Goodyear Response Edge that was recommended to me...
http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/sea...=009115%7C2007

the thing is, that was only for the tires, then mounting and balancing... yadda, yadda, yadda.... who knows what final price would be...

Picking up the 18's with four brand new dunlaps from a dealership that swapped wheels for someone else, no damage on the rims... total price OTD $675... can get at least a year and a half out of those... then who knows

It was unexpected to say the least... bought the car used (07 with 14k miles on it) in April.... now have 20k miles on it, hard miles that is but never really thought to check tread on the tires before buying the car... might could have gotten them all replaced as part of the deal... oh well, you live and learn... was my first car purchase... still have a lot to learn!

Oh, and the prices for 18's seem to be a little cheaper, I guess it is a more popular size... but the 19's are crazy... one set below $200 a tire... then it jumps to $311 a tire!

I'm not recommending any particular year because they all have pros and cons and I love all G35's

Personally I own an 06 coupe. I haven't had any problems except my driver side window sometimes thinks there is something blocking it from going up and rolls back down a little bit. Some kind of countermeasure to prevent a persons hand from getting caught in the window.

I had my ECU re flashed and tuned by Altered Atmosphere Motorsports so my gas mileage is fine. Fast fading tire tread isn't a problem for me. The local police is a cure for my WFS.

I just wish I had bigger brakes.

What do you guys think of this... I'm sure maybe i can make a lower offer

$25900
2006 Infiniti G35 - (Girl Owned & Operated)
Fully loaded
Black Leather Interior - Excellent Condition
AutoStick
22,200 Miles
V6 (Great Gas Mileage)

Car is beautiful and I get compliments all the time - wedding coming up quick and house hunting has me willing to part but will buy another G35 once things calm down (Great Car - Great Ride - Never had a problem)

Car will be sold with factory 17' alloys unless buyer wants to negotiate a price for the 20' Lorenzo's

I contacted the seller and was told that "Nothing wrong with it AT ALL" which its normal, who would say something is wrong anyways haha.

"It is still under Factory warranty (60,000 or 80,000) with an option to purchase an extended warranty to 100,000 (cheap, I think $600).
The tires may have 2,000 miles on them. I still have the receipt from NTB which I bought the extended warranty for those too."

so what do you guys think? If I go look at this weekend, what should I look for?
how much should i offer?

Thank you

Ok that sounds silly to me. Too much BS.

Is "girl operated" supposed to be good or bad? Depends on who the girl is, lol.

Also, "V6 (Great Gas Mileage)" is a crock. V6 does NOT = GREAT gas mileage. We dont get GREAT gas mileage. Its ok. Its like 17-19 city, 24 highway or something like that.

Autostick? Its an AUTOMATIC with a cute lil option.

FULLY LOADED WITHOUT NAVI? lol.

Cant tell if it has the full AERO package from picks.

I feel like 26k is too much, especially if its a private owner (I cant tell from pic). You might as well throw 5k more in there, wait a few months and get a G37.
