Yesterday as I was coming home from work, the traffic was sucky as always. But I had a really bad day and I've been sick for 2 weeks. I have my "ghetto" music blasting away when I hear someone yelling to me. I look over and there's another black g coupe next to me. The guy looked to be middle-aged and he had a passenger. He did the thumbs/wave and big grin to me. I did the wave and huge a$$ grin back. That definitely made my day. If your on this board. Thanks.

 

Also I felt kinda ashamed cause his my car was real dirty... But hey I've been sick oh wells. But that car was glistening. Nice job.

 

I live in NoVA, but my very dirty BO/Graphite/Aero G didn't make it out of the garage yesterday. Let's hope the owner is on the board though.

Sat morning I did see a Twilight G on 495 coming from 270 towards Tysons. He waved and then bailed onto Cabin John (I think). Maybe he's on the board as well.

Its just nice to get a wave or nod anything from another g. I remember trying to wave to a brand new red g coupe and the guy looked at me like I was crazy and drove off. Blah. I always see a black g with I go up to Tysons. It's usually parked on the ramp going up to the roof. Are you going to the meet this Saturday?

That's cool that you got the wave back. I've waved at a couple of people and I get the "Who the f$%^ are you?" look back. I usually only wave to people relatively close to my age 20 - 40. I don't usually wave to sedans b/c it's been my experience (no flames) that people in my area who drive sedans tend to be older.

I find more mutual respect from other peopl with nice cars. Gave the thumbs up to a guy in a VW R32 and he gave one back with a big smile. Good times!

i was in the tyson's area today at rosenthal infiniti buying my new Black/black g35 and saw a black G35 on 495 near rt 50 going like 90 =p i tried to keep up in my little 4 door civic but he blew me away in a few, couldnt get a good look at the car =p

The Capital G Club and The ZCCNV (Z Car Club of Northern Virginia) will be getting together Saturday, May 8 at the Sheetz station in Chantilly, VA (Poland Rd I believe). At 9:30 we will be heading out and driving North to Shepherdstown, MD to the Yellow Brick Bank for lunch. After that you are free to go to Antietam to site see or go with the ZCCNV to a wine tasting.

Yeah, there's been many occasions where I see a g35 and the driver is real snobby and doesn't wave back. Also, I spotted a red g coupe this weekend, I think it was Sunday on the George Mason Campus, man it was clean. Seems like I need to clean my car more than once a week. Cause after like 2 days it's dirty again. *SIGH* Other times I see a G owner they just stare as they pass me. And that's about it. So come out for the drive this saturday if you can make it. Did it have Nismo wheels? Might have been one of our customers cars that we are working on now. Mine is white so it def. wasn't me.

 

I drive a Caribbean Blue coupe, tag US. I drive to work everyday from braddock Springfield 495 to Rockville 270 to work. I see a lot of diamond graphite, black, and red. I'll try to say hi if I see you guy on 495 or 270. BTW, Cutchfield have a car show the first week of June. Lot of stuff on sale. I gonna go there to get my system upgrade, I am not happy with my Premium Bose.
