New coupe owner!

After months of a mixture of wait and hell, me and my family finally got the oppurtunity to buy a g35c! To make a long story short, we wanted to sell our POS RSX . We had it on ebay twice, and on Autotrader for months. Nothing was going as hoped, and we gave up. We even almost got scammed all the money through a false wire transfer. We finally got a hit on the car, and jumped on it. The guy came down from hours away, and finally it was sold. The buyer is picking it up Saturday morning and shortly after we will ride down to Infiniti of Dublin (OH) and pick up our g35coupe, that I am having them hold. I purchased a Brilliant Silver coupe with premium and tire and wheel package. Black leather. I was also fortunate enough to get a good deal. I got them down from sticker ($35,600) to $33,500! I can't wait to get the coupe and will post pics of it shortly! Thanks a lot for a friendly, non flame forum. Without this forum, this is actually a great deal of chance I would have never stumbled upon such a great car, and would most likely would have never purchased it.

Re: New coupe owner!

yeah, good job on the coupe.

Just wondering, how did you almost get scammed on the wire xfer? we accept them at my business all the time and just call our bank to confirm the funds have been received/deposited....or was it a western union type thing?

Re: New coupe owner!

Congrats on the G. I too owned an RSX Type S for a short time and got rid of it. Nice car but seriously underpowered. No torque. Hold the pedal to the floor, wait for VTEC to kick in at around 5500 or so and appreciate that neck snapping (just kidding) kick in the butt.

You'll love your new G.

Re: New coupe owner!

Thanks for the comments guys. The scam happend awhile back and I dont remember everything. The guy emailed me and told me he was buying a car for his client in another country, Europe I believe. It was a very believeable scam too. However, I may still have his email and will post it up on here, it was great. The guy went under the name " Andy Derek ". Anyways, as far as the RSX is concerned, your not kidding about NO TORQUE. I put on an AEM intake, and that didn't help at all other than increase noise. Nice car though... Thanks a lot guys for welcoming a new G owner!
