My driver’s side door lock all of a sudden stopped working one day. Then randomly out of no where it started working but now its’ back to it not working again. But not only is my door lock not working but if my window is completely rolled up and i close my door it rolls completely downnnnnnn..

i think my switch is possed, i took it out to look at it and just barley touching it makes all these weird noises, so I’m thinking it could be a bad switch or loose wires buuuut i could be wrong...

i have some ideas on how to fix it but, tell me what you think!

reallly?! what did you do, replace the switch?

 

Mine is doing the same thing (for awhile now). It's the door lock actuator thingy. I'm getting ready to replace it soon...I'm getting real tired of having to use my key to get into my car. LOL!!

i have an 04 too and my window stopped workin one day and low and behold they had a recall on the motors.

 

you need a new drivers door lock actuator

and a

window/locking switch board

maybe its cause of your aftermarket black door grab handles
