Its a $60 worthless piece of metal. You don't gain anything from this. Its been tested by Sport Compact Magazine, and the results that there was no gain at all, they even lost some power. The same thing goes with Spiral Max and other similar pieces of crap.

Its just like the makers of Z-Max or Prolong...they all eventually got sued by the FTC and ended up paying million dollar fines, but were still allowed to sell their products. You know by putting all those stickers like the honda crowd does on their cars, it adds like 30+ hp...

It does matter.. it's an obstruction in the intake, impeding the flow of air.

Re: tornado fuel saver... feedback?

Yep, it's a scam. I tried the SpiralMax (same thing, basically) on my old car (before I knew any better) and it did absolutely no good. Like ryoken said, an obstruction of air flow, such as this, can only hurt performance.

Re: tornado fuel saver... feedback?

I find it funny how they say it smooths out the air flow, but they didn't say when you have your throttle body plate in the way, it kinda ruins the flow.
Its funny how people make money off gullible people......most of the people that buy this crap is the innocent ones that are not thinking straight...especially late night.

Re: tornado fuel saver... feedback?

My neighbor and I were talking cars and he said he just bought one. Dude's a good guy, but likes to brag a little.
I said "Cool, let me know how it works".
Well, ever since, he's been avoiding me, so maybe he's embarrassed to tell me he paid $60 to obstruct his intake...lol

(Actually, I did read somewhere that it's known to work (to some degree) on older cars, but has no real effect on newer cars like the G.)
