Performance mods for AT.

So I have been reading around more a bit trying to figure this out but I seem to be a bit lost as I am not the most car savy guy out there to say the least. I am looking into mods for my g35 5 at but I have heard it is almost pointless with the AT. So i was looking for a bit of guidance on the mods that are actually worth it on the AT, b/c i have heard a things such as a SC, will not really do me much good.

Get a S/C you cant go wrong with that, but if that doesnt suit you get a TT setup. U can do as much with a AT as you can with a MT

The people that are telling you that are probably talking about the transmission itself, just get a valve body and that should allow you to efficiently put power to the ground and increase the longevity of your transmission if you plan on going for high horsepower.

don't listen to them bro. I also have a 06 AT. and I have a Injen cold Air, 5/16 ISO thermal spacer, HKS HI Power Exhaust, Fast Intention 300 HFC and ill tell you something. I got some good extra HP. They have this 06 g35 AT in youtube with twin turbo. It does around 450 WHP. And another with a Stillen Stage 3 with around 385 Whp. But it is true about doing some work to the transmission. But that minor ****.

A lot of people w/ 6MT think they are superior to anything else...

Its almost like they're stuck up LOL

Don't listen to them.. Same motor and same everything.. just a different transmission.

The only mod I know of that's different is putting a MREV2 into a AT isn't going to do anything, that mod is mostly for the Rev-up engines only on 6MTs.

All the rest are the same though.

5AT is just as good as 6MT.

Add a Motordyne 5/16 ISO Thermal Spacer if you want best bang for buck, or upgrade your suspension (swaybars!), imo.

Don't let any of those 6MT guys think your G is worse because it's 5AT. Ever.

I have an auto G as well with intake, plenum spacer, test pipes, 3 inch single exit cat back exhaust and Turbo XS UTEC with a tune. I am dissappointed in how my car performs against other Manual G35's because my friends 03 6MT coupe can take me on top end and he only has intake and exhaust.
