how to launch a G35 auto?

Hi all I think this has been asked before but I can't find it in search. Anyway Is there a way to launch a G35 auto coupe at high rpm like a 6speed? what if I reved it up to about 3500 in neutral and then drop it in D or in MM mode. would I [censored] [censored] up or what help me out.

If you want to launch better get the torque converter done. Thats gonna be my next mod.

The torque converter is the automatic transmission's version of a clutch. Some plates and a viscous fluid that lock together. Auto trannies can be modified to allow you to do higher rpm launches without damaging them, and to do harder, quicker shifting between gears. We've got a sedan guy (gurgenpb) that's had his tranny worked on by EdgeRacing. Here's his post on the mod:
