Just got my G35 today and need some help
Hey everyone, I'm a long time reader but a first time poster. Here's my situation.
I just got my g35 in today and I love everything about it except I have a problem with the dashboard lights and radio lights. Every time I turn the headlights to the ON or AUTO positions, all the lights from my dashboard (speedometer, miles, gas, etc) and my radio lights turn off. When I turn the headlights off, all the lights come back on. As you can tell, this is not a good thing cuz i can't see anything when I drive it at night. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Thanks for the quick replies, I located the controls for the dashlights, messed around with it by turning the the little wheel **** up and down and my dashboard lights still goes off when I turn on the headlights.

if it's only a fuse then how much are we looking at to get it fixed? I also want to mention that all the lights including the lights for the temperature buttons goes off when the headlights are on but works fine when the headlights are off.

if its a fuse.... you're looking at paying less money to fix it than the gas you'll use driving to autozone to get a new fuse
it could just be something screwy the circuit (maybe the dealer had to mess with it for some reason and somehow it got out of sync).... anyway i would take it to where ever you bought it and tell them about it if it turns out not to be a fuse

It sounds like your dash lights are set too dim. It can be adjusted on your lower left of the steering wheel by the tab where you pop the trunk.
EDIT: OOps I read further and found out you tried this...so NM

I don't believe our members don't know the answer to this issue!
In the daytime when you turn your headlights on the interior lights go to
evening mode. When it gets dark turn on your headlights and see what I'm
refering to. You don't need your headlights in the daytime....right?

I know you said you messed with it, but try this:
Turn the headlights on, and then roll the little wheel all the way up.
If that doesn't work, check to make sure that the wiring harness for the wheel is plugged in.
