+1 I totally agree. 05 stereo plays mp3s, changed control **** on stereo for the better IMO, lit steering wheel controls, some have memory seats. There are other nice things as well like stitched steering wheel. Little things add up once you are in the car and own it. Just do your research. Hit edmonds.com and search for the differences. I wish I would have. I would have paid what little more for an 05 or 06 but I didn't know what I was doing at the time. Also, when you test drive it, take it to the car wash and run it through a high pressure car wash while you are inside the car. See if it leaks at all on the doors near the back and the front both. Make sure too that your lining for your sunroof is not "cracking" or brittle.

 

We drove 2 hours to find out that this "perfect" car had been smoked in and smelled absolutely terrible. Dealer basically lied through his teeth. Had a long talk with the sales manager and we were able to work out a better deal. Picked up this 05 with 38000 miles and got the factory infiniti Elite warranty for another 4 years which covers the life of the loan. It doesnt have the navigation but it does have all the nicer features of an 05 plus the 19's. Im absolutely scared to see what snow tires are going to cost but i fell in love.

And my first real question is how the hell do i adjust the side mirrors, cannot find a switch anywhere???

 

its tucked on the left side of the steering column not far from the tilt/telescope control. see pic...

One other quick question with the stereo. I have sirius and it works well but is there a way to make it so the display reads things like the song name and artist?

looks like you found the car you wanted. oh and the smoker thing just get it professionally detailed and the smell should come out as its most likely in the headliner and pillars. you get a better car for what you wanted good thing you asked before you bought that 04 because you would of been paying to much aka 04's with even 37k go for 19k give or take a few k off the top (ie: 17-21k for an 04)

Had to do an auto, wif cant drive stick. And the only way she would let me spend this much cash was if she could drive it to. We already have a sports car that she cant drive so she didnt want us to own 3 cars and her only be able to drive one of them. Like I said I dont really need the absolute best performance out of this thing. Just a hot looking dependable ride was all I was after. I must admit she looks freaking hot driving it...

 

On my 04 there is a display button that when you press it, it shows the info but only when you press it. It does not do scrolling like RDS on the radio. Why I have NO IDEA ! . I have my ipod hooked up through it and I have to hit the display but to go through artist, song title, etc. Just look for display or cat and hit it when your in satellite mode.

 

i work at a dealership,and i got my o4 g35 with the brembos, for 17,600 out the door....he is alittle trick...tell them to bring u a invoice price meaning wut they paid for it...there going to be alittle *** and tell u that 24 is a great price and someone else is going to buy it a ****...but tell them to bring u the invoice and there are two kins of invoice a real one and a fake one..at 1st they are going to bring u the fake with that shows maybe a thousand over price..but the true value of that car is under 20 check kbb
