move my tpms or reprogram new ones?

I have stock 18" wheels, and just bought a 19" oem set with tires and tpms.

My question is : should I just put the 19s on, and have Infiniti reprogram them ($100), or should I pay to have the tpms switched outfrom my 18s to 19s, and no reprogram needed. ($100 8 dismounts, 4 balance, 4 disposal)

Same price, which is better option?

thanks

The other day I just put on my 20". The past 2 days I've noticed the low pressure blinking. I checked the tires, they were at 35 psi. What should I do =x

I found it depends on your year, I have an '07 and I bought wheels from an '04, I was told the sensors are different and that they couldn't be programmed for my car (something about a change for the '07+ sensors) so IMO swap them out for the ones you had that were working just so you don't have to waste time... or, if you want to try and get a good deal, simply go in and tell them you have noticed the sensors aren't working... they could "reprogram" them as a warranty item... This is what my dealership was going to do until they found that the sensors wouldn't work with my car, thus not a warranty item!

Good Luck!

TPS Swap....Good Idea!

You can swap out the TPS to the 19" without any issues. I did it on three
different sets of wheels and the work fine. You do want them on the car
since no one likes the dash warning light....right?
