Window Locks
There has been discussion of this board a few times in the past about how the window lock works. When the lock is put on it locks both the passenger and drivers door window switches from operating. It makes no sense that the drivers window switch would be locked, but Infiniti has told many of us that is how it work!
Well.......I recently had the drivers door panel replaced under warranty for a problem with the fake leather.......when I got my car back the window lock now functions right. It only locks out the passenger switch and never the drivers.
So I can only conclude that something got fixed in the process.

Re: Window Locks
I've noticed most Japanse makes do it that way.. the window lock switch kills power to all the windows, period, or some of them still let you control the driver's window.
Most American cars I've had, the lock switch disables the passenger and rear window switches, and the driver can still control all the windows.
Can't have everything all at once.. we'd have nothing left to hope for.
