I have a 07 6MT and my mats in the back are 2 piece...

now that I think of it im pretty sure my friends 04's both had 1 piece in the back on their 5AT's

 

The dealer told me the exact same thing that gte is saying! 5at mats are 2 piece rear whereas 6MT is one piece!! If you want you can send me yours and i will send you mine(4 piece), i just bought them from the dealer last weekend! PM if interested also mine do not have the emblems, lol!

 

I believe those you got are for sedan

This thread picked up very nicely again, but only to confuse me even more. If you read back throught he 3 pages, we have all sorts of theories, and non confirmed.

What I decided is to put up with it, and since noone is sitting in the back 99% of the time, it is not a bother.

As for a trade, my mats have already started showing some dirt spots so I am not sure just how happy you (OBG3506) would be.

i believe the 03-04 MT console is different from 05 therefore the length of the consoles are different. U might have a 03-04 rear mats.

 

Nope I have a 04 6spd manual coupe and mine in the back are 2 pieces he has mats that go in a sedan.

 

'03-04 6MT mats were 2 pieces, no center. I still have the dealer brochure for my car, an '04, and it came with the OEM mats included.

I don't think the rear of the console location changed, just the console itself in the 2005 MY plus, I can only assume you have mats for a sedan. At least for NA the mats are 2-piece F and R.
