Carbon Fiber Question
I got some bad hail damage on my car and the worst of it is on the hood. I am just going to get a CF hood but I don't like having my car two different colors because this is the only CF piece I will probably put on. Firstly does anyone have an VIS Invader 3 for sale by chance
and second, can you paint CF and does it paint well? I am sure I could do some research but you guys who have actual experience please chime in. It would be much appreciated. Any idea on the cost would really be helpful as well.
Thanks

Yes CF can be painted
depending on the quality of the part you will be able to see the CF weave or not. Better parts use harder gel coats and resins and the weave will show less.
I would suggest you take a quick look in the classifieds, I see OEM body parts being sold all the time, that will give you the best fitment.
Good luck!!

I have the sides of my CF hood painted on my maxima, and you cant see the CF at all. Depends on how good the shop that paint it is.
