my father originally gave me the money to buy a G35X, but after I test drove the coupe, I made up my mind right there. Before I got to pick up my car, I had to drive a loaner sedan (not AWD) for couple days. that thing was slipping quite a few times, so I was worried about not getting the G35X. Then when I picked up my car (17" wheels w/all season tires) it didn't slip at all (BTW picked up the car when it was snowing). I tell you from my experience as long as you drive carefully in the snow with all season tires you will have no problem. well if your dad gets you a S4, of course get it. its a whole different class. but I tell you that the G35 coupe is not dangerous at all as long as you have all-season tires.

 

whoa whoa calm down, dont be mad at me that i get a free car when u worked ur whole life to get an entry level sports coupe. yes, i think i know a thing or two about cars,and i just think ur mad that i have 340 horsepower as opposed to u only having 280. don't hate me because im 18 and getting an s4, hate me because im 18 and would rock ur little coupe on the highway....oh yeah, and when ur stuck in the snow on the side of the road, be pissed at me for driving right past u and not stopping to help. now, at least u have a reason to call me spoiled, so im glad we cleared that up. sorry to the other coupe owners, i love the car, just not the people who think it makes them untouchable and so defensive over nothing.

To clear things up a little bit more. I am GBabygirl's boyfriend and I have an ATI procharged 02 is300 with 345rwhp and 319lb. tq., respectively. She has driven my car numerous amounts of times, and although 300hp+ cars are fast for those who have never driven one, for those that have for awhile, know that as you get accustomed to the power, it loses its punch. She is more than capable of handling a sub 300 awhp car, probably more than many of you. So can you please stop running your mouth, everyone that has, and learn the background information before you speak up. She isn't spoiled, as she has worked her *** of to get into Cornell, and has done exceptional under the circumstances. A deal is a deal, and her father followed through. None of you can say that when you are ADULTS and parents, you wouldn't like to provide the best lifestyle for your kids. If you can have it, why not? Don't be angry at the fact that her parents have been successful.

Hahaha she probably doesn't have a boyfriend. I am 17 years old, turning 18 May 27 and worked my *** off for 8 years to earn $20,000 so I can pay for half of my car. My parents are very wealthy and could probably buy and sell you. Now then, there is a certain sense of pride and accomplishment I feel every time I look at the car, which is more than you'll ever have. Also, just because you know how much hp your car has doesn't mean you know anything, it just means you can read numbers and are capable of semi-intelligent thought. I am very sensitive and protective of my G as you can tell from this retaliation and don't like it when people like you talk that way to my fellow G owners. And ending on this thought, your s4 may have 340 hp, but my backhand has 500lbs./ft of torque that I'm not afraid to unleash, so you may be able to rock my coupe, but I would rock you.

Kid, you study for yourself not for your parents and the car. And you should be happy that you have parents that pay for your tuition fees. "A deal is a deal, i want my S4!!!" Not only do I have a job and go to school but I also wrestle 6 days a week. You know nothing about hard work. You spoiled brat. I'll take the over on that bet, figure it will take her that long just to get her head in the door, another 7 fixing her makeup & covering the hicky from her 33 y.o. slimeball boyfriend who still lives with his parents and just graduated AA, and another 7 weeks to locate and remove the silver spoon from her own "generously proportioned" a$$ because her daddy isn't around to do it for her. I got a buck on 21 weeks and few hours (barring it doesn't take her too long to find reverse). Please keep us posted.

good for yall for paying for your own cars, schools, etc. well some parents like doing things for their kids, cuz its the only way they know how to show love to their sons or daughters, like my father. i guess i am spoiled, but dont you tell me that all sons/daughters dont appreciate what their parents do for them, just cuz you paid for your own stuff.
