G35's are decently quick for a 6 cyl...not incredibly quick like my dads M5, but quick enough for me to daily drive and pass people with ease.

the car is slow, no ifs ands or buts. no way a camry should be keeping up or beating a "sport" coupe.

Because your mods do next to nothing compared to what his mods do to his car. You should not have bought an auto if you wanted it to be fast. an auto runs a 6 sec flat while a 6MT can do 5.4 with a good driver. The mustang is faster because it has an A LOT bigger engine, I have no idea why you are comparing the 2 cars, and no idea why you expect an auto to be fast.

They have a 3.5L V6 engine too, and they weigh less.

it might be slower off the line but performance isn't all about 0-60 or even the quarter mile. you think a big clunky stang handles better on the twisties as your g? and who gives a **** about a cobalt? hahaha my goodness if you want to beat everything on the rode, go get a bike.

The stang mayyyy be faster but
1. it ugly as shiit(imo at least)
2. interior is shiit
3. worst back seat i have ever sat in
4. it doesnot handle better

The G coupe owns the stang in all categories, except a straight line....maybe you should have got a mustang if that all you are looking for.

For a $30k luxury sports coupe the G is pretty fast id say. I believe there are even people on here who have ran in the 13's with just bolt on's, and maybe a tune. Not very many $30k "luxury" cars can run low 14's off the lot.
