don't get me wrong...i love my car...but it is a semi-luxury car with a nice ride, and good pep.

 

as i said guys I am a huge Newb. All i know is I beet him maybe he didnt give it full power. but I did. All I know is coming from an audi TT my G is super fast but its just my opinion. ease up on the **** hole-ry ok guys geez!

G35 is not a fuking "sports car" its a luxury sports coupe, far from what we would consider a sports car(ie. GT-R, Corvette, ss camaro, gt mustang, etc.) For a 6-cyl luxury car, the G35 is pretty quick. Find another Luxury sports coupe that runs low 14's out of the box????

GT500 makes 60 mph in 4.5 seconds, the quarter mile in around 13 sec. at just over 110 mph. The G35 0-60 mph: 5.7 seconds 1/4 Mile: 14.2 seconds @ 101 mph.

Hmmm maybe he didn't give full power I think you might be right! 500 hp vs. 260. Come on now, and you doing a ricer flyby makes us G35 owners look bad.

Right here you mention Camaro, Stang, and Trans AM, All of which would kill the g35 in the 1/4 we know this... But you stated none of these would win on a "real track".... The SS Camaro would the Cobra Stang would and the WS6 Trans AM would all of which are types of the same cars you have stated above could never beat the G35 in a "real track" last time I checked the SS was a camaro the cobra was a mustang and the WS6 was a trans am.... The other comment about lieing to yourself and to others on the board was aimed at the guy who said he chewed up the cobra..... But it is also aimed at you because any of the above cars I've named would beat g35 in the twisties..... So quit lieing to yourself and to others on this board.... Dude how old are you. First. i know alot of cobra owners. and even if they stay in 3rd gear they can spin the tires. No offense but you are on a fourm. with 32871387238 members. I'm more then positive one of these memebrs will know a thing or two about cars. and when you say you chewed up a cobra. you just have a sign on the top of your user name that just says moron. Next time before you post be 100% sure you know what you are talking about.
Now on the g is slow. to each ones own. What you think is slow. is really fast to someone else. If you want a fast car buy a z06. and im sure you will never complain about speed. You get what you paid for. You paid for a 298hp car then your going to get 298hp. I cant really say much. since i have not owned a g yet. but im reading the fourms learning about the car before i buy it. so people who complain its too slow. well you should have done more research into the car. learn what mods can you do too the car to make it fast how much will it cost compared to just buying a car with the hp you are looking for. I'm sure alot of people are very happy with the power its putting now. thats just my .02 cents

I've seen V8 douschebags that are complete ricers with GIANT stickers and spray painted wheels, retarded body kits, GT logo's on V6 mustangs and other stupid ****, those are your boyfriends with mustangs, GTO's, chargers, camaro's etc. But anyway the G is slow, and putting a turbo on these cars is suicide because you never know what will happen and the car wont last long. But again, yes the G is slow.

And you are exactly correct about what is slow to someone might be fast to others I guess me stepping down from a 400+HP truck that when everytime you stomp on it the S/C would scream and you would burn the tires for as long as you stayed in it to a car with no guts at all lol when I stomp on the gas it just slowly pics up speed.... I could see how shane coming from a slow as hell civic to a G i guess yea it would be a step up and thats why he finds this car "Fast" lol all in all good post.
