you're gonna have to replace the bumper... so now would be a good time to go aftermarket if you want to.

Don't submit it to insurance if you have a $1000 deductible but want to spend 500 or less. Just get an aftermarket or OEM that is the same color from the marketplace here. It may take a bit to find it but heck, put a license plate cover on the front of the car for now to mask it a bit.

i already submit to my insurance already, i scare the person that i hit might do something stupid , nothing damage to her car, i hit her tow hook and she want to call her insurance and make a claim.. pictures already taken so i let my insurance handle it... i think the best idea is put on the front license plate cover

Sorry didn't know you hit them. I thought someone backed into you. Sorry to hear that. If it's been claimed then when you get it fixed make sure you give the receipt to your insurance so they will show it as fixed. Otherwise it will show on a carfax as being in an accident and not fixed.

You should understand that a brand new bumper unpainted + paint job is less than your deductible. You need to fix the car with your own money and then show your insurance company that you had it professionally fixed. If you go aftermarket it doesn't count as fixed but don't let that stop you from getting a different bumper man. Get what you want. It's your car and your cash. You do not HAVE to pay your deductible. You do that only if you want the insurance to pay for things and in this case you can do it cheaper than your insurance deductible. Insurance companies are never suppose to increase your rates because you have an accident unless you are a proven bad driver. Don't let that fool you though. There will probably be a slight increase in your insurance and they will have some reason for it. Just depends entirely on the insurance company and your history with them and age and several other factors. Hope this helps.
