G35 Coupe resale value
G35 Coupe resale value
Re: G35 Coupe resale value
I was about to just get a 2004 and spend the extra 4-5 grand... Unfortunately I needed that money and went with a used 2003. I couldn't believe how little a car that's 18 months old went down. Check out kbb.com for 2k3 and then go to infiniti.com for 2k4.
Re: G35 Coupe resale value
thats good to know. but if the Civic Si Coupes came out the same year, it would have given the G35 a good fight i think. damn, that 17K car is still selling for 11-12K after 5years.

Re: G35 Coupe resale value
That is great news about the coupe. I have to agree with you Bogler about the SI. My fiance purchased a new one in 2000 and it was stolen a year later. She was paid $1k more than what she bought it for new from the insurance company with no aftermarket parts, all stock. Cool huh.

Wow - that's great news! Thanks for posting that info.
I just checked my lease contract, and my residual buyout at the end of my 2 year lease is $24,000. I paid $37,615 for the car, so based on the 67% depreciation rate, it should be worth $25,202 at the end of my lease. More if I keep the miles down like I have been (only have 7,500 on it so far and its almost a year old). So I'll probably buy it at the end of my lease.
I thought IFS overestimated the depreciation amount, and it turns out I was right. Since it was a new model, I guess they went with the average depreciation rate for Infiniti as a line. I knew with the car's good looks and excellent reviews by the press, coupled with the fact that its an import, it would hold its value well - better than Infinitis in the past.

You're welcome Z06ied.
If my other car was a Z06, I might not be putting as many miles as I am on mine. My other car is a Jetta VR6 so not contest there.
