Umm...I almost lost my license cuz I didnt pay a parking ticket in NY. They are getting brutal about it, and New Jersey has been following suit. Parking tickets have claimed atleast 4 of my friends licenses in the past year, so yes, the NYPD is getting crazy with it.

are you sure you don't waive traffic school by going to court because the last time i got a ticket, that was the deal. that was about 10 years ago though : )

also, the deal with the printout from the radar/laser gun, that's what i heard from seemingly knowledgable ppl on these forums who were lawyers. but i have heard in the past that even in court, the police officer has to prove that you were speeding. just his word that you were doesn't prove his case. it's still innocent until proven guilty. and in the case of speeding, he has to have a legit method of determining your speed and proving it. i think a couple ppl on this forum went to court and won because the cop issued the speeding without legitimate means of determining speed.

Honestly, I'm a stickler for speeders. yeah, I do speed, but there is a fine line between speeding and becoming a hipocrite... 15mph+ in a city/county roadway is too fast for me... 20mph+ on a state highway is too much for me... just my rules

Unfortunately the area I work does not have many G35 owners, actually, I don't think I've seen one, alot of Section 8 housing, etc... so, don't think I can help out.
