Looks like they were going for an SCCA/Autocross/racey type of look... If the entire car were lettered up, and had a cage in it, and it was parted on a track... i wouldnt hate it...
but as for Special Edition... i think they were going for the Early-year Saturn Special...

Yup, I am pretty sure that is the caes... It looks like raw ABS plastic to me as well...
