Interested in picking up a G

Hey guys, I have been a nissan fanatic for a while now and want to step up into a G coupe. I have loved it since it came out and still like it over the 08's. I found an 06 auto with the intelligent key, blose, sport package(19's), spoiler, sunroof, etc. It has 23k on it, is at a honda dealership listed at 27k. I have a 99 maxima with 102k on it with all the options. They offered to give me 3k on the car, and take the G for 22.5 OTD. What do you guys think? Should I go for it? They initially wanted 25k OTD including my trade, but I worked them down, just don't know if I should bite. Any advice would be appreciated as I would like to try to purchase tonight. Thanks!

22.5 for an 06 auto with 23k, is not bad at all.

is 22.5 otd after taxes or after you pay for taxes. remember its not always about the payment of the car, its the APR you get approved for.

overall i think thats a great price. maybe try and budge them for more cash for your trade in even if its only 500

22.5 OTD includes all taxes and fees. What do you think is a good APR? My credit is perfect. I was thinking I could squeeze them to 21k OTD since its the last day of the month and its been on their lot for a month and a half, but I am highly doubtful.

If I wasn't deploying I had a deal for an 06 AT with the prem package, 18's, sunroof, bose and 34K on it for $19,500 from a private seller so your deal is not bad at all considering that is a dealer.

if your credit is a perfect as you say then no worries about your apr. just dont get stuck in a 6 yr contract. also i would suggest getting gap insurance from the dealer while your add it.

wow, only 3k for the maxima. you could get so much more is you sold it private party... but considering how much they lowered the price at 22.5 OTD, i say that is a good deal.

I got my 6MT 2006 coupe with 12k miles on it for $26,000. I got lucky but with these cars, the autos are usually cheaper than the manuals when buying used...then again, you do have all the nice options such as sport suspension.

All in all, its a good deal. i vote go for it!

also, not sure if typing Bose as Blose was intentional but pretty funny lol

Yes the blose was intentional, never thought it was that great. They would not go any lower than 23.2 OTD, they took back their offer and said they couldnt do 22.5 OTD. So I am going to forget about it. I did find a 05 equipped the same way, except from what I understand, 05's dont have memory seats or rear vents for passengers or bluetooth. Their asking price is 21.3 ++ with 30k miles. Ill go check it out and see what they can do.

my 06 6mt with 13k miles from a private wonder was 24.5k...price is very negotiable everywhere. personally, i think you can talk the dealer down a bit. auto's are a dime a dozen and can be found for dirt cheap.
