G35 Coupe - Finding Lightweight Wheels
So we can put on 19x9 and 19x10 wheels on the G's, but i want to know if anybody a found light weight wheels anywhere? I have been searching high and low and just see standard wheels. I would love to save 100lbs from the wheels so any links you have to share will be great. Thanks!

As for the wheels i would think he would have to be running some stumps for wheels, maybe some chrome 20's with some serious weight issues. And then jump to a carbon/mag wheel combo of some sort but even then i swear to make up 100lbs is just unrealistic.
Dymag is going to be a great option if money isnt an issue. Even the magnesium cast wheels were a grip and honestly i dont think worth the money at the time of purchase. You would be better off getting a reasonable set of wheels and then putting the money into FI and suspension when worrying about the sprung weight.

Really though we all know 100 pounds isnt realistic. You MAY be able to sqeeze a 17 inch wheel on there and if you got them in the carbon fiber or mag you would save a lot of weight but still no where near that number. Try to save weight in other areas and then focus more on not how much you weight you lost but total weight corner weight and power to weight ratio.
rotational inertia of the wheels adds up with a few extra pounds. And to the response with helium. The mass of the wheels and tires are the same >.> and im not quite sure how you will drive when your wheels are floating above the ground aha

Dont you mean nitrogen?
