SSV Speed Sensitive Volume question

I just got an 06 coupe with the NON BOSE stereo. I noticed it has the SSV speed sensitive volume control which i find annoying. My owners manual has instructions for how to turn it off on the BOSE system, but doesnt mention how to turn it off with the NON BOSE. (TYPE B). Any suggestions?

what's SCV? Is that a button you have? I dont seem to have that. My Audio button only cycles through bass treble, fader, and balance.

Just push the button - it cycles from Off, low, mid, high.

There is no button to push. The SSV has no button. How do i turn it off without a button?

I have non bose version with no SSV or SVC button. Is there another way?

Hmm... I have an '05 non bose and it's the 3rd button above the CD slot. What is it on the '06?

On the '04 it was called SCV "Speed Controlled Volume" and on OP's '06 it is SSV "Speed Sensitive Volume"

On my '04 Bose there's no button, but if you cycle through the options using the "AUDIO" button, I get treble, bass, fade, balance and then SCV.

Try the Audio button on yours it may work.
