best exhaust for if I get a st or s/c

HKS is the BEST, imo. It sounds the least ricery. My sound, with a cai and crawford cats, and hks hipower, is very deep and throaty. But, what are u looking for? Deep and throatry, or higher pitched? Greddy is good for that, as is Amuse(expensive). Whats ur budget? hks isnt cheap

Pretty sure for SC you won't necessarily want anything bigger than 2.5" in diameter. With a high boost turbo application, you might actually need >2.5"

others know a lot more about this than I do.

Basically with NA, and very low boost FI applications, if you have exhaust piping that is too wide, you'll lose backpressure.

With a high boost turbo, on other hand, you might need larger piping to get the safest/most powerful setup

hks and amuse are not the best choice for a turboed car
