Need help killing cluster rattle----Pic inside

like the title says. stock photo enclosed to show location. i've already wedged velcro (the soft side) and 3M tape which helped some but it's still there on really bumpy roads. i think it's making contact further in (toward the rear of the car). if i pry anymore to get deeper in there, i think i may crack the plastic. only solution would be to take off the top cover and apply 3M to the whole underside of the cover. i've already looked at the service manual but it just shows how to take the cluster itself from the trim and remove the mirror adjustment switch. plz halp guys!!

no, it's just tapping. if i wedge my finger in between the dash and cluster, it goes away.

Why don't you wedge a piece of foam in there or something?

it moves up in down with the column, you need to take the cluster out and reinstall the felt tape that should be there from the factory. simple as that,

Here you guys go. I believe this is for an '04 model, I don't know if it changed for the new gauges in 05.
