Maybe I'll change out the lugs and take it in next week. Worst part is that my warranty ran out not too long ago...

It's the damnedest thing,
I was leaving class today around 5:00. I made my usual left turn out of the parking lot, and cringed at the thought of the sound it makes when I make those damn left turns.....

AND NO NOISE!
It's gone! I unrolled my windows and turned my music off and listened carefully at every left turn until I got home. Nothing!
I'm pretty happy right now, I hope it doesn't come back.

I'd get the stealership to check it out...but I really dont think its the same issue as the rear axle clicking..
In a FWD or AWD car this would be true, but our cars are RWD... and since we have independant rear suspension, the only CV joints we have are in the rear of the car... so the CV-Joint noise would not be emenating from the front end if it was a CV-Joint going bad on a G35 Coupe.

Check your rims to make sure there's no peeling paint on the inside portion of one of your front rims that might be clicking against a control arm. I've seen that happen before.. particularly on cars with chrome rims.

I have chrome OEM 19s, so maybe...
I checked once for chipping finish, and Ill check again even though the sound went away. Thanks for the tips.

My car too makes this noise when i turn left out of a parking lot. I can only notice it when i first start my car and move after its been sitting a few hours. I will try to listen more carefully to see if it happens every time i turn...i hope not!

We don't have axles in the front..our cars are RWD guys!!

Anyway I have no idea what makes that sound in the front, mine doesn't make it. GeoBau's makes like 800 sounds in the front of his car, theres a new one everday lol...

Couldn't find the source of them though.

Why would he GIVE them to you when he can CHARGE you for them... unless your car is still under warranty?
