True but that's part of the package. Some people pick cars because they look good but not the performance. Bmw name can be part of the look factor. I say 45k dollar car and 15 goes to the name.

 

Buy an M3....you'll have to get rid of it in 4 years once the new body style is out. The engine is tuned to the max there isn't much more you can do it. Our car is an instant classic, first gen, the NEXT Supra. 5 Years from now I'll slap a Tri-Turbo on her and keep her garaged.

Man I dont know either what's wrong with myself and M3's, my jaw drops everytime I see one or my friends, im in it and I hear them!! The convertible is nice for older people who want BMW styling and that is pretty quick, the coupe is like getting into a whole different car either SMG or 6spd. The cab does 0-60 in 5.3-5 sec's the coupe 4.5-8, 0-100 the cab is slower by over 2 sec's!! I saw on m3forum.com a guy on aftermarket 19's with just pulley pull a 12.63 which was pretty much stock. I have the video!! It really is way different, the coupe is some serious business. Martin
