My last car had the Ford 4.6L modular motor, whose plenum had a pretty rough interior. Many companies offer porting/polishing services for those stock plenums, so it is reasonable to assume those same services are offered for other cars, including the G35.

Obviously polishing the inside of the plenum would not be for cosmetic reasons. People who have attemted to port/polish the underside of the upper plenum actually had problems with the car running properly. Because of the advanced tuning of the car, the polishing of the inside disturbs the airflow and throws off the ECU.
It is not reccomended.

how much does the upper plenum weigh?
im gonna go tomorrow and ask how much it would cost to ship my plenum to you, if it is a little pricey i might just give the extra 100 and keep my plenum
what address should i ship it to?
