Third Brake Light Problem

I notice last night that my third brake does not always turn on when I press on the brakes. It sometimes does and other times won't. Is there a solution to this? I know my fuse isn't blown because the light still comes on at times... Out of ideas. Does this mean maybe the LED's are dying? Thanks in advance.

dude..mine just started doing that too!!

and one of the techs at work couldn't find another adapter, so he straight wired it together, and it still doesn't work. so i think it's either the led's or the inner adapter is ****ed maybe?? not sure.
