Pros and Cons

Hey guys! I have finally put rims on the G, and will post pics of my ride very soon. I just put on some Stern ST-2 19x8.5(f) 19x9.5(r). The offsets are +20(f) and +25(r) Do need spacers. I got these rims with a black finish with an alloy finish on the lips, and the lip size is 2.5"(f) and 3"(r).

Pros: The price is decent, the look of the rim is nice, and worth the price if you are on a budget. I'm not on a budget, but I don't think spending $1,000+ for a set of rims is really worth it, but it depends on the person.

Cons: They are heavy rims, One Piece rims, and are not meant for racing.

I am personally happy with these rims, and I would recommend these to anyone who doesn't plan on racing their G35. I baby my car which is why I wouldn't race it.

What are your pros and cons of your aftermarket rims?

I will posting pics. very soon. The girlfriend decided to not recharge her camera, but my car has the darkest legal tint which I will have to get the specs when I get out of work, and my G is silver. I am glad I dropped my car before putting these rims on, because I went 3 months with stock rims. Since I put these on you can definately tell the difference, but you notice that with any rims. If you get 19's make sure you can find deals for the tires, because they are so damn expensive.

I have had my Sterns for 3 years now in Ohio and have enjoyed them every time I come out. I chose the Face III because the resembled the OEM 19s I had already but with a lip. I only ride them in the spring, summer and fall...and have no major complaints.

But you are right about the weight...my other is I would have bought an extra set of center caps. One is falling apart and the other's finish is looking pretty bad.

here are the pics! My next project is 10 - 20 mm spacers. Getting CF N1 rear diffuser in January, and I was thinking of putting a CF VIS front lip on. Let me know what you guys think? I just have the bug, and open to any opinions. Enjoy!

Yea I will be honest I was either going to choose between black or hyper black. They both are pretty nice to me. The only thing with these rims is that they are heavy, but I don't mind. I don't race my G, so it depends on the person driving their ride. I will recommend them to people who don't plan on racing their G's all the time. Let me know what you decide on getting, and post some pics. My next project is 10-20 mm spacers, and after that I will be buying CF Vis front lip, and the CF rear diffuser. Will compliment the rims.

Let me know what you end up getting, . I want to see how your G is going to look. I am sure it will good. All G owners ride are nice in my book no matter what they do. As long as they keep the rims 20 inches and lower. lol.

Ahh! ok. Well your G is still tight in my book hahaha. I just ordered a CF Black Top Aero Type N Rear Diffuser. Then I am going to probably get the CF VIS lip or the CF Seibon lip. Still undecided.
