If your car is a little older, one of the exhaust hangers could be a bit stretched. This is quite common as cars age as the rubber will relax over time. If that is not it, it could have just been installed that way from the factory. There is a small amount of adjustability if you loosen all of the bolts between the components because the bolt holes are a little bit larger than the bolts. There is not much though.

I'm surprised my hangers aren't stretched too since I'm on my 4th exhaust
system....lol When you order new hangers get them from Riverside Infiniti
any where else will jack up the price....1-800-919-8130 ask for Tony
or Mike and let them know you're from Driver.

For some reason this is extremely common on G35 coupes... Dunno if they made it from the factory or something like that.

My stock exhaust tail pipes are uneven, too; the left pipe sags more than the right pipe.
For now, I'm just going to live with it.

I've heard from several peope that this is common on our cars. Its annoying once you notice it, but not worth worrying about until you switch to an aftermarket exhaust.

Its not so much that it hangs lower but the passenger side sticks out more,
just wanted to see if this was bad for my car at the time.

Nothing wrong with it, just looks asymmetrical/unappealing to the eye.
